£64.95) can be bought for cat owners, multi-cat owners, small and medium
dogs. The Platinum holds over a gallon and a quarter (178 fluid ounces) of
water and comes with an additional reservoir built in. The big advantage of
the Platinum is that the motor is fully submerged and therefore it is really
quiet.
For people with medium to large dogs, the BIG-DOG Drinkwell Pet Fountain (RRP £66.60) is available (holds over 2-gallons of water and has a much deeper bowl). The BIG-DOG Drinkwell comes with an Additional Capacity Reservoir already attached.

As the vet who created the Drinkwell Pet Fountain knows, many cats do not drink as much water as they should.
